La companyia
La Companyia is an interdisciplinary group of professionals whose goal is to create healthy, harmonious spaces that bring well-being to the people who live in them. We work through accompaniment — hence our name. We support you closely and continuously to make the journey easier throughout the whole project. In this process, nature plays an essential role. Our society has gradually drifted away from it and, unwittingly, from our exchange and collaboration with it. That is why we want to reconnect with nature: to let it into our interior spaces, to let it interact with them and with people and, ultimately, to give it a leading role. Nature does not destroy, it contributes and repairs; nature does not generate waste, it transforms it into nutrients; nature does not compete, it cooperates; nature is a perfect system of balance and life.
At La Companyia Verda we treat every project as a unique piece, caring for every detail and giving it its own personality. Our ultimate goal is to make you feel happy, thanks to a team of designers, architects, landscapers, geobiologists, and lighting, feng shui and health professionals, coordinated by Carolina Sayes Maldonado.

Specialist in bio-construction and healthy habitats
Architect from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. I came to Barcelona in 2000 to study a Master’s in Urban Planning at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. I have developed my professional career across my own interior design projects, occasional projects with other professionals, and as a collaborating architect at ADD Sarri-Civit. In 2010 I had my first encounter with Sustainability and Energy Efficiency, which brought about a substantial shift in the true intention of my projects. In 2013 I completed the Master’s in Bio-construction at the University of Lleida (UdL) – Institut für Baubiologie + Oekologie Neubeuern (IBN).
I am co-founder of La Companyia Verda and a teacher at various design schools, where I teach subjects such as Eco-design, Sustainability, Professional Ethics, Ergonomics and Healthy Habitats, among others.
