The premises had an open space connected to the street and several rooms. It needed a reception, a small meeting area and a dressing room. Our clients wanted to give it a cheerful character, calm and, especially connected, that is, not to eliminate completely the diaphanous space. The idea of designing looms to separate the spaces from lightweight structures that support the warp and the fabric and which, in addition, serve as a support for the illumination, to form a shelf, a bench and a table. Three metal structures were created, one for the reception and desk, another as a divider, work table and shelf for the meeting area, and the third as a dressing room.
The warp was made with cotton rope and fabrics with hemp, cotton and plastic ribbons, to give them a transparent feel. All horizontal surfaces, such as shelves, tables and benches, were made of solid, naturally treated pine. The colors used were: white on almost all walls – except for the entrance that used the green to relax and create harmony – the tapestry used brown to give warmth, a little red to stimulate and give joy, a little black To give a sober touch and some green. The result was a space with a great variety of textures, warm and unique.
